Glenn Lyle
Keith Bullock, P.Eng., M.Sc.
Brief Biography
Keith graduated from Laurentian University in 1986 with a B. Eng.(Mining), after which he received a M.Sc. (Mining) from Queen's University in 1988 specializing in rock mechanics.
Keith joined Xstrata Nickel (formerly Falconbridge) following graduation, working in various positions within the Mine Engineering departments, gaining valuable experience in mine planning and design. Keith received Six Sigma Black Belt training with projects focused on crew productivity improvement and development dilution control. Following this he moved into the operations side of the business. While in operations Keith worked as a front line supervisor, safety supervisor and production captain before moving into a Mine Superintendents role. Following Xstrata's purchase of Falconbridge, Keith became a Mine Manager at Fraser Mine and Montcalm Mine, where he gained valuable managerial skills necessary for the operation of a mine. Keith joined CEMI in November 2009 on secondment from Xstrata Nickel with a focus on Ventilation on Demand, Underground Mine Construction and risk mitigation in mining.
Keith is a registered Professional Engineer in the province of Ontario.
